EU-MOROCCO Relationships
Trade with EU countries represents more than half
of the Moroccan commercial exchanges. In 2000 EU importation reached 6 billions
Euros and exportation 7.7 billions. The balance is traditionally in favour of
European Union. Imported products are mainly : cloth, machines, chemical products,
plastic raw material, wheat.

Exported products are : foodstuffs ( fishes and fruits, tomatoes, flowers), consuming
goods and different kinds of machines and equipment. Industrial products produced
in Morocco already enjoys special custom duties tarifications from EU. Agricultural
produces are subject to quotas.
